STEWART of ALBANY (SCO) - Honorary President of IBSSA, Prof. George POPPER,
GCKM (HUN) - President of IBSSA and Dr. Levente GYENES, KCM (HUN) - International
Coordinator of IBSSA in Europe accepted the invitation of Dr. Alexandr
CACH (CZE) - Country Representative of IBSSA for Czech Republic and they
travelled to Zlin on the 25th May 2004.
The IBSSA leaders visited the new Headquarters of IBSSA Czech Republic
(IBSSA CZ) and GRADDO in Zlin and also surveyed the latest developments
of the company. There will be a Conference room for 250 people, guest
rooms and 200 offices of IBSSA CZ and GRADDO and also of the security
services and of related trainings in the new Headquarters. Significant
outdoor facilities belong to the new HQ as well. One of the highest standard
indoor shooting-range and training centre is nearly ready in "Graddoland".
Training courses, camps, championships, and seminars will be held here
in the future. All these things capacitate the new Headquarters for organising
the forthcoming IBSSA Congress and its side events, such as the high-level
individual and team Bodyguard Championships.
According to the above-mentioned things Dr. Alexandr CACH reported that
in March 2005 he intends to organise the 10th Congress of IBSSA and its
side events in the Czech Republic.
Dr. Alexandr CACH informed his guests that Dr. Tony BROWN - who is "Man
of the Year in 2004" in the USA - was handed over recently the IBSSA
Honorary Membership diploma. During their visit the leaders of IBSSA
contacted Dr. Tony BROWN on the phone in order to discuss several things
on future cooperation. Numerous other meetings took place in Zlin in
connection with collaborations in the fields of Economy, Culture, Sport,
which affect the future development of IBSSA as well, since big international
events will be organised in Moscow, in the USA and all around Europe
- such as the Mike TYSON vs. V. KLICSKO heavyweight boxing championship.
Dr. Alexandr CACH also gave information on the followings:
- IBSSA CZ has close cooperation with the S.W.A.T. (USA), the Russian
ALFA GROUP, and the Austrian COBRA Instructors - IBSSA CZ in collaboration with the Czech Police Office will organise
again the International Snipers Championships, which will be similar
to the championship held in 2002 - IBSSA CZ took on high-standard security tasks in the United Arab
Emirates
The IBSSA leaders agreed that during the INEOA International Drug Conference
in October 2004 an OPEN IBSSA Board Meeting would take place in Miami
in order to discuss and prepare the forthcoming Congress and other events
of IBSSA.
Concrete proposal
- 10th Congress of IBSSA will be organised in March 2005, in Zlin /
CZECH REPUBLIC - During the Congress Bodyguard Demonstration World Championships and
Individual Bodyguard Cup will take place (winners receive prize money) - 11th Congress of IBSSA with a spectacular Bodyguard World Championships
is planned to be held during the spring of 2006 either in Las Vegas
or in Florida with the support of the agencies of Dr. Tony BROWN and
Dr. Alexandr CACH
Prof. George POPPER, GCKM - President of IBSSA stated that he will discuss
these proposals with the present IBSSA Board of Directors during the
forthcoming WKC European Championships in Caorle / ITALY.
Representatives of TV stations, and the media reported about the visit
in significant extent.
